What is Breathwork?
Breathwork is a general term that encompasses many conscious breathing practices with the common goal of balancing the nervous system and activating the innate self-healing mechanism inherent in every organism.
Conscious Connected Breathing
One of the practices is Conscious Connected Breathing — a way of breathing without pauses, cyclical and continuous. Its regular practice has been documented through years of scientific studies and experiential knowledge to bring us closer to our body and emotions, opening space to listen more deeply to our true needs. These benefits have led to the creation of global organizations of conscious breathing professionals such as the Global Professional Breathwork Association (GPBA) and the International Breathwork Federation (IBF).
At Breathflow, we create a safe environment where we gently practice conscious connected breathing.
Other techniques
Additionally, we use a wide range of conscious breathing techniques and multi-sensory practices (movement, dance, vocal exercises, etc.), which cultivate consciousness and enhance each person’s ability to expand their field of attention, to connect with the subconscious and deepen their relationship with themselves. All techniques draw inspiration from ancient traditions of yoga, Taoism, and Buddhism, as well as from modern approaches such as Rebirthing Breathwork, Holotropic and other methods.
